Another night tinkering in the kitchen …. this time I made No Bake Peach Custard Pie.
Love the taste of custard and peach …. Divine!!!
Here’s the recipe:
No Bake Peach Custard Pie
For the crust:
100 g melted butter
250 g digestive biscuits, crushed
Mix the butter with the crushed biscuits and then press down firmly in the baking tin or pie mould. Chill for about 10-15 mins.
For the custard:
1 packet of white jelly powder (agar2 serbuk)
750 ml of water
140 g sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
1 can of evaporated milk
2 tbsp of custard powder
I can of peach
Boil all of the above over a small fire. Keep stirring till the mixture thickens. Best to use the whisk to avoid any lumps.
Off the fire and continue to stir for another 5-10 mins before pouring them into the baking tin or pie mould with the pie crust that has already been chilled.
Add slices of peaches on top and chill in the fridge. Served cold.
